Here's the pictures of our trip. I'll write something more about it in a bit, still got a lotta work to deal with and everybody at the office has been taking Stupid Pills since the merger announcement. For the time being, I think the above photo captures the essence of the entire week.
So, can you get me a job on St. Johns? I'm totally serious. I'm ready to be a pirate, bartender, cook, constructionworker, what ever, as long as I don't have disfunctional frat boys in charge of my paycheck. Let me know who to email my resume to. -Al
Al, i think of all the people I know, you really are the best candidate to relocate. it has everything you value, including eccentric locals, cheap booze, and NO FEDERAL INCOME TAX. also they are totally serious about their hot sauce down here. I got some "Miss Annas" sauce, sooooo good. That broad's all right by me. can you work on a construction crew consisting mostly of ex-felons and ex-strippers (and some of both!)?
Thanks for the Miss Anna's Hot Sauce plug and positive comments. I am one of the partners of Crucian Sauces, LLC, which makes and distributes Miss Anna's Hot Sauce products (Hot Pepper Sauce, Mellow Pepper Sauce, Garlic Habanero, Rainforest Seasoning, and Caribbean Shake (a dry rub version of the original flavor)) on and from the island of St. Croix. Seems you got your hands on one of our bottles while on St. John. I would be interested to know what restaurant or store you tried it at??
Anyway, just stumbled upon your comments when I googled "Miss Anna's Hot Sauce" and wanted to offer a couple of free bottles to you (shipping included) if you agree to spread the good word for us !!
Since this is a blog and is not secure, please post the easiest way for me to get you some product. Sounds like you are in Brooklyn....I am in Manhattan half of the year and St. Croix part of the year, so samples could be easily delivered.
JC-- thanks! i will surely take you up on your offer, i love Annas Sauce and chat it up every chance i get. i found it staying at my girlfriend's sister's house on St. Thomas. They had some and I couldn't believe how good it was. I picked some up at the grocery store and had hoped to get more in the future. if you can, email me at jimmy(@)jimmylegs.com and i can get you my contact info. thanks a bunch!
